“neue räume 26”: New spaces, new highlights: COR presents product innovations in Zurich

From 24 to 27 September 2026, COR will be taking part in "neue räume 26" at the ABB Eventhalle 550 in Zurich-Oerlikon. Together with more than 90 exhibitors from ten countries, the German seating furniture manufacturer will be presenting its latest product innovations there, along with the new CORcosy throw collection.

Rheda-Wiedenbrück, 24 September 2026. Beyond Switzerland's borders, "neue räume" is regarded as an important platform for the furniture industry and a meeting point for design enthusiasts. COR is using the fair to present its portfolio to an international audience, putting several innovations in the spotlight.

With CORcosy, the premium brand is expanding its furniture portfolio with a throw collection made from 100% finest merino wool, developed in collaboration with a small Belgian knitwear manufacturer. Two distinctive designs – LINE and WAVE – are available in a total of eight colour combinations, perfectly coordinated with COR's fabric and leather collection. "Comfort means more to us than just sitting well. With CORcosy, we're creating a textile addition that blends beautifully with our seating furniture and upholstery fabrics," says Leo Lübke, Managing Partner of COR.

The new Cordia26 armchair is also on show. Ten years after its launch, the Cordia has been updated: Cordia26 now features slimmer armrests, a clearer silhouette and ergonomically refined seat and back cushions. The swivel and tilt functions remain unchanged. This combines upright seating comfort with relaxed lounge feeling, for both private and public spaces.

Also on display is the Kagu armchair, unveiled in Milan this past April, which combines a sculptural timber frame in ash or oak with an upholstered, sprung seat. The strikingly visible wooden frame, with its tapered legs and central cross support, gives the armchair a distinctive, architectural signature.

With the new Puro Velvet leather, COR is expanding its upholstery collection with another premium leather featuring a unique tactile quality: for this article, the reverse side of the hide – the so-called flesh side – is used as the surface. The palette of earthy colour tones blends harmoniously with the existing fabric and leather collection, opening up new design possibilities for residential and contract spaces.

With its presence at "neue räume", the premium brand once again underscores its commitment to combining seating comfort, premium materials and timeless design.
